How It Works
If you are unfamiliar with the concept of web directories/listings, they are essentially a database of links to websites meant to help increase visits to your website. Most directories & listings are either very general and list websites by type, or very niche and dedicated to one specific type of website or interest.
Instead of a list of websites like most other web directories, linklings.club is a list of people with personal websites organised by the things they are interested in. Here, you are not listing your website in a specific category, you are listing yourself, tagged by what you are interested in.
Adding Yourself
Adding yourself to the database is fairly easy. All you need to do is fill out the application form with your details and what you are interested in, and you will be added to the database within 48 hours.
After this, you will become searchable by interest. Your website will be linked on every page for your listed interests, and others can click through to your site to learn more and reach out to you using whatever contact method you have on your site.
Browsing the Directory
The best and fastest way to browse the directory is by entering your specific interest into the search function, located on the browse page (and in the sidebar, if you are viewing this site on a computer). If there's a match in the database, you will be taken to a page with a list of people with personal websites who share that interest.
You also have the option of browsing by category. You could use this option when you don't have a specific interest in mind but would still like to find new people to connect with, or the search function hasn't found your specific interest but there could be someone with a similar interest listed.
Reaching Out
Because linklings.club is a directory and not a communication/social media service, there is no on-site way to contact members. You need to go to their website and use whatever form of contact they have made available. This way, members retain control over the way they wish to be contacted.

It's been 48 hours. Why haven't I been added?
If you do not see yourself listed within 48 hours of submitting your application and you have not received any emails from moxie@linklings.club, please check your spam folder first, then let me know so we can figure out what went wrong.
How do I edit or delete my listing?
Use the update details form. It will guide you through the process for changing or removing any information.
How can I report a listing?
I perform regular link checks to ensure that they are not broken and adhere to the requirements, but if you come across any links that are broken, don't fit the criteria, you believe need content warnings, or for any other reason, you can send a message with the contact form.
How can I view all of someone's interests?
On individual interest pages, you can view anyone's full profile which lists everything they are interested in by clicking on the icon next to their name on their "card".
Who runs this directory?
linklings.club was created by Moxie Moshpit in February 2026. More information can be found on the about page.
How is this directory managed?
It's run on a Django install which collects and stores the information you enter. I manually check for any errors in the entered data before submissions are published, but there's always a chance something has been missed. If this is the case, please let me know by updating your details or sending me a message.
What's with the British English spelling of some words?
I am not from the US and thus don't use American English. For any interest where American English is not used as a proper noun, I use British English. I did consider using whichever version of English the interest was submitted in, but it felt inconsistent and messy. However, it's still possible to search the database with American English spelling. If you come across something that doesn't return results in American English, please let me know!
